Travel & Airport Information
For your convenience, the Balboa Bay Resort & Club is easily accessible from several major Southern California airports:
- John Wayne Airport (SNA) – Located just 8 miles north of the resort (~15-minute drive without traffic). A convenient regional hub with ample rental car and rideshare options.
- Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) – Approximately 45 miles northwest (about 50–60 minutes by car, depending on traffic). LAX offers extensive domestic and international flight options.
- Ontario International Airport (ONT) – About 55 miles east of Newport Beach (~1 hour drive). ONT is another alternative for westside and inland travelers.
We recommend flying into John Wayne Airport (SNA) if possible, as it’s the closest and easiest option. For those arriving at LAX or ONT, rental cars, shuttles, rideshares, and car services are readily available for easy transport to the resort.
